A SntryPACS solution places no licensing limitations on the number of modalities and workstations supported by the archive*, and customers can choose the reporting workstations that are most appropriate for their radiological specialty. SntryPACS integrates any DICOM compliant modality or workstation through customizable workflow and worklist management and its standard HL7 interface supports interchange with RIS applications. This flexibility goes to the heart of the QStar Healthcare solutions, reducing costs and minimizing disruption to existing systems and processes.

The SntryPACS appliance is based on QStar’s unique archive platform which supports enterprise class multi-level storage management. Scaling from a few terabytes to petabytes of archive capacity, SntryPACS easily meets demanding high volume requirements. The most recent medical studies can be retrieved from high performance RAID, while being securely archived on robust optical or tape media. Advanced disaster prevention options provide media, device and site replication for much greater image availability and reduced down time. No other PACS provider can offer the performance, resilience and cost savings of a 3-2-1 strategy for medical image archives.

* The number of modalities and workstations that can be operated in a SntryPACS environment is dependent on system configuration and performance.
